It's under new management, but don't let that fool you. It has the BEST fries in Twentynine Palms. Everything else is moderately good for the price. Don't waste your time with the chicken tenders. They are not actually tenders. They are mechanically and chemically separated chicken byproduct that are reformed into a tender shape. Very similar to a McDonald's chicken nugget except for the breading, which is much better than McDonald's. If you do not take my advice and do get the chicken "tenders" go for the BBQ sauce. It's delicious. I suspect that it is sweet baby Ray's. They proudly serve Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Family of four can dine for around $55-$65.

Very big portions. If you're not too hungry, remember to order the half portions. Food is good. I ordered Ravioli Mushroom. It was a little overflow of much mushrooms were in this dish. Like smothered. But it was still good. Would go there again but order something else and in half portions.

They have definitely upgraded within the past few years. The menu has a good selection to choose from. The food is always good, and it comes with quite a bit. You definitely get what you pay for. For a military base restaurant I'm always impressed. The customer service here is always good. I wouldn't say I agree with how one of the owners treats his employees, but if that's not something you care about then I'd recommend eating here.

I love this place (since the change in ownership); I'm not sure what it was like before. Serving staff has always been very friendly, prompt, and courteous. Stephanie is awesome! Pitchers are cheap compared to other places on MCAGCC Twentynine Palms. Atmosphere attempts to be Italian with a Marine flavor which is fun. Prices for entrees are medium to high, but the portion sizes generally cover you for 2-3 meals if you box them to go. The pizza here is the best within 30+ miles! It's better than "Pie for the People" if you ask me, and I was born in New York! A great place on base to "get away" with a group of your peers and enjoy pizza, beer, and camaraderie.

The red sauce is bland and they gave me the wrong food. I didn't notice till the next day because I bought a calzone for today and cannelloni on a bed of spaghetti for tomorrow. I ate the calzone today and when tomorrow came and I went to get my cannelloni, there was no cannelloni, just veal or chicken parmesanon a bed of spaghetti. However, the service is good, the people are friendly, and the serving sizes are quite generous, which was very handy for a temporary bachelor. I just added some seasoning before reheating and chowed down.
